I lived with a Canadian family, the Whites; they are very kind and friendly, so we became good friends. I could practice speaking English with them every day. Sometimes, I taught them Chinese. Passage three: Hi, I’m Jerry. Nice to meet you. It’s very exciting to have a Chinese friend! In America, school starts at eight-thirty, so I usually get up at around seven o’clock.
