一、教学内容:

本课可作弹性选择,Part A定位为泛听材料,Part B定位为泛读材料。

二、教学目标:

1.通过听力与阅读训练,增补与本单元主题相关的材料,帮助学生了解更多与该话题相关的信息,拓展学生的知识面与文化视野。

2.培养学生热爱、尊重世界各族人民与文化的情感态度。

三、教学环节设计:

1.Revision

Check the homework assigned the day before.

2.Leading-in

(1)Introduce the background of the dialogue in Part A.

(2)Get the Ss to read through the questions above first.

3.Listening

(1)Play the tape for the first time.Ss listen and try to find out the answers to the questions above.

(2)Play the tape again for the Ss to check their answers.

(3)Check the answers in class.Meanwhile,deal with any useful expressions or important sentences.

eg:①We didn't get home until midnight last night.

②How about meeting for lunch so that we can sit and talk?

4.Reading

(1)Get the Ss to guess what else Lie Jie visited in London.

(2)Introduce the background of the passage in Part B.

(3)Get the Ss to read through the “T or F” sentences first.Then the Ss read the passage silently and decide the sentences true of false.

(4)Check the answers in class.

(5)Deal with some useful expressions or difficult sentences.

5.Discussion

(1)Ask:If you will go to visit London,what else would you like to visit? Why?

Get the Ss discuss in groups of four first.

(2)Share the Ss’opinions in class.

6.Homework

1.Work in groups of four-一一Find more information about London.and make a small poster.(最好图文并茂)

2.完成练习册内相关练习。

第6课时 Speaking & Project

一、教学内容:

几个清、浊辅音音素和谈论"Where would you like to go? Why?” 以说为主。

(二、教学目标:

1.帮助学生准确读出以下三对辅音音标的发音及掌握其基本的字母组合发音规律:/f/-/v/,/?/-/3/,/θ/-/?/

2.在紧扣“Travel”这个主题的一系列讨论中,培养学生用英语交际的口语表达能力。

3.通过Project的讨论与制作,培养学生合作学>-j、自主学习的能力,并拓展了学生的国际文化视野,培养学生热爱、尊重世界各族人民与文化的情感态度。

三、教学环节设计:

1.Talk Bar

(1)“故事大王”决赛一由前五名小组代表现场讲故事,以现场演绎的语音、语调、感情色彩等评分,决出前三名并加以奖励。

(2)Get some Ss to talk about London.

2.Speaking A…Talk time

(1)Get the Ss to pronounce the following phonetic signs correctly: /f/-/v/,/?/-/3/,/θ/-/?/

(2)Play the tape for Ss to listen to the words.Ss circle the words they hear.(Ex.A1)

(3)Ex.A2一Ss listen to the conversation and circle all the above sounds.Then Ss practice the conversation in pairs.

(4)Get 2 or 3 pairs to act out.

3.Speak up

(1)Introduce Task 1:

Ask:Your family is planning to go traveling for a holiday this year. What would you like to do on holiday with your parents?

(2)Brain storming.Meanwhile,the teacher write down the Ss’ideas on the blackboard.

(3)Introduce Task2:

(1)Say:Now your family is planning to go abroad for a holiday this year.

Where would you like to go? These names of cities may help you. Get the Ss to look at the table in Part A of Project.Ss work in groups of four and write down the names of the capital city and the largest city in each country.

(2)Check the answers in class.

(3)Let the Ss read the example in B2.This may help them to finish the task.

(4)Ss discuss in groups of four. Decide:Where would you like to go?

And write down at least four reasons for the choice.

(5)Get some groups to tell their decisions and reasons to the whole class.

4.Project assignment

(1)Introduce the project:Get each group to find more information about the city they would like to visit.Then write a paragraph about it.Find or draw interesting pictures for the city.Make a poster to present the city.

(2)Get the Ss to read through the questions in Part B of Project.Use these questions to help them.

5.Homework

(1)Group work

Find more information about the city and make a poster.

(2)Get Ss to bring a postcard to school the next day, if they have got any.

第7课时 Writing & Project show(综合实践课)

一、定位:

Write a postcard.以写和说为主。

二、教学目标:

1.指导学生学会写旅游明信片。

2.通过project的汇报展示,培养学生综合运用语言知识的能力。

3.引导学生小结归纳本单元所学重点知识。

三、教学环节设计:

1.Showtime

(1)Get some groups to present their posters and introduce the city to the whole class.

(2) Other advice:We’d better put up the posters of each group for the whole class to appreciate.And let the whole class to choose the top three.

2.Writing

(1)Say:When we go on holiday, we often send postcards to our friends of family at home.Have you ever written or received a postcard?
